Announcing Women Who Ski Summit

Introducing the Women Who Ski Summit 2028: A New Era of Connection, Learning & Mountain Magic

For years, Women Who Ski has been bringing women together on the slopes through small intimate trips where 25 to 30 skiers and riders form friendships that last long after the snow melts. In 2028, we’re taking that spirit of connection and scaling it into something bold, ambitious, and deeply meaningful.

We’re thrilled to announce the first ever Women Who Ski Summit—a multi‑day gathering designed not just as a ski trip, but as a full convention‑style experience for 175 to 250 women who share a love of skiing, snowboarding, adventure, and community.

This is more than a trip. It’s a movement. It’s a milestone. It’s a celebration of who we are—and who we’re becoming.

Why a Summit? Because Our Community Is Ready for More!

With thousands of members across the country, our community is filled with women who are doing remarkable things — leaders in business, creators and makers, philanthropists, athletes, adventurers, and women accomplishing big feats. Every group trip reveals this truth: once the skis come off, you discover the incredible depth of who these women are beyond the mountain. Those fireside conversations, chairlift stories, and après ski moments are often the most memorable part of traveling together.

The Summit is our chance to amplify that magic. It’s a megaphone for the talent, knowledge, and passion within our membership. It brings all that energy into one place—where skiing meets learning, wellness, and connection. Women from all backgrounds can gather to inspire and be inspired. This is the moment to shine a spotlight on who our members are and create a space worthy of everything they bring to the world.

But even with a larger group, we’re committed to preserving the intimacy that makes our trips special.

Cohorts: Small Group Connection Inside a Big Experience

Our nametags can even spark connection with women of similar ability.

To ensure every woman feels seen, supported, and connected, the Summit will feature cohort groups—small circles of 10 to 15 women organized by:

  • Ability level (green, blue, black, backcountry, cross‑country)

  • Region (Pacific Northwest, Rockies, Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, etc.)

  • Ski vibe (powder chasers, groomer cruisers, steeps lovers, adventure explorers)

These cohorts will meet daily for skiing, discussion, and shared activities giving everyone a “home base” within the larger Summit community.

A Multi‑Day Experience Built Around Skiing, Learning, and Wellness
The Women Who Ski Summit blends mountain time with meaningful off‑snow programming. Expect a schedule filled with opportunities to grow, connect, and recharge.

Skiing & Riding
Of course, skiing remains at the heart of the Summit. Cohort ski sessions, optional guided groups, and free-range skiing will make sure everyone gets plenty of time on the mountain.

Fitness & Wellness Sessions
Before and after skiing, members can join:

  • Mobility & strength classes

  • Yoga and stretching sessions

  • Injury prevention workshops

  • Recovery and longevity talks

  • Women’s health discussions tailored to athletes

These sessions help us ski stronger, safer, and longer—together.

Education & Skill Building
We’ll tap into the expertise within our own membership and the broader ski community. Expect sessions on:

  • Gear innovation and tech

  • Avalanche awareness

  • Travel planning for ski destinations

  • Outdoor leadership

  • Confidence building on varied terrain

Signature Summit Events
These are the moments that will shape the Summit — experiences designed to celebrate who our members are, what they’re building, and the connections that make this community extraordinary.

1. Women’s Business Showcase Night
We’ll spend an evening exploring women‑owned shops, bars, restaurants, and creative spaces in the host community. It’s a celebration of local women entrepreneurs — the makers, founders, and visionaries who help mountain towns thrive. This night is about shining a light on their work and supporting the women who bring energy to the places we love.

2. Great Conversations Dinner

Expect great food, wine and connection at Great Conversations.

We’re skiers, but we’re also leaders, creators, thinkers, and innovators. The Great Conversations Dinner brings that depth to the forefront. Selected members will serve as table hosts, guiding intimate discussions with 6 to 8 women on topics such as:

  • Business & entrepreneurship

  • Science & technology

  • Politics & the economy

  • Literature & history

  • Culture & current events

It’s an informal, energizing, deeply connective evening — one where ideas flow as freely as the laughter, and where women get to share not just what they do, but who they are.

3. Keynote Breakfasts
Each morning begins with inspiration. Keynotes may include:

  • Gear experts sharing the latest innovations

  • Spotlights on emerging ski destinations

  • Women’s health specialists

  • Leaders in outdoor advocacy

  • Athletes and adventurers telling their stories

A Summit Built By Us, For Us
To bring this vision to life, we’re forming a Women Who Ski Summit Planning Committee — a group of members who want to help shape programming, logistics, partnerships, and the overall experience.

If you’re passionate about community building, event planning, or bringing women together in powerful ways, we’d love to have you involved. Fill out our Volunteer Interest Form.

The Future of Women Who Ski Starts Here
The Women Who Ski Summit 2028 is more than an event—it’s a new chapter, a chance to gather hundreds of women who share a love of the mountains and a belief in the power of community; chance to learn from one another, celebrate one another, and build something bigger than any single ski day.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the Summit. We can’t wait to see what you’ll bring. And we can’t wait to build this together.

Here’s to the next era of Women Who Ski.
