Black Diamond Level Membership includes all 5 benefits:
-
1. Early Access to our Trips
Exclusive “early bird” access to our ski and snowboard trips. Offered in early May. Information sent via newsletter directly to your email inbox. Paid early bird members will have time to decide to commit. Only if there are unsold spots as the deadline approaches will the trip will be offered to the rest of the Women Who Ski mailing list subscribers, then those in our Facebook group. Anyone who decides to go on our trips will then have to pay the membership fee. Paying your membership fee sooner ensures you have early access to a spot on our trips. Our trips sell out by September.
-
2. Better Chance to Secure a Spot
Trips are sold on a first come / first serve basis, so being a paid member means you are the first to know about our trips, increasing your likelihood of securing a spot. Maximum number of spots is 25. Being a paying member does not guarantee a spot. Paying a non-refundable deposit is what holds your spot. Again, membership buys you access to our trips.
-
3. Investment in a New Ski Venture
A toast to us! If you’re a member of the Women Who Ski Facebook group, you feel the excitement, positive energy, and virtual love as we encourage and high-five each other on our posts. That same compassion and support characterizes our in-person trips. Your membership fee not only helps us secure lodging for trips, but will help offset expenses to maintain this incredible community through this website and domain name, the WWS newsletter, mailing list, and the membership portal, as well as the swag we give away. You can feel good that you’re paying it forward by helping attract more women to the sport by how we show our heart to them. 4. Access to Exclusive Mountain Chat Groups
Members can join our members-only chat groups for major ski regions and resorts so they can meet up in real time with other members at that location. When you sign up for membership, you will receive an email with a link and password to access the member portal that contains links for each text group listed below. Links go live Oct. 1, 2025.
New for the 2025 / 2026 season, we are moving our groups from Telegram to WhatsApp. Trying to make arrangements to meet someone on Facebook can be challenging due to posts getting old fast and missing them in your feed. Our chat groups offer these benefits over connecting through Facebook.
• Real time communication:
Like sending a text when notifications are enabled so no delay in connecting
• More transparency:
Profiles are required to use real first and last name, and a headshot photo without sunglasses or goggles.
• Member vetting:
Each member is checked that they are a paying member and that their profile meets requirements before entering chat group.
• Transparency promotes authenticity
We can’t “police” people’s profile photos and name requirements on Facebook. Chat groups allow us to do that to increase the level of comfort for a more meaningful and safe meet-up.
• Promotes ski meet-ups
Getting a text in a chat group may motivate you to get to the slopes more often if you know one or two ladies want to meet up that day.

Thanks, Genevieve, for setting up these chat groups. Totally brilliant! And easier than the Facebook page.
