Official Women Who Ski Trip to Big Sky Resort
March 8 – 13, 2026
Terms and Conditions: this is for read-only information purposes. Once you commit to reserving a spot on this trip, this document will be emailed and you will be asked to agree to each of these terms with your initials and sign the document via e-sign.
Trip deposit $350
The trip deposit is used to secure your spot on this Women Who Ski trip. It is nonrefundable. Women Who Ski uses this money to hold your spot and guarantee the trip with our vendors in advance, as well as to pay for nonrefundable expenses Women Who Ski incurs like credit card fees, subscription to software used for systems to make the trip happen, and other resources. If you are unable to make the trip for any reason, the $350 deposit is nonrefundable. You will not ask for a refund for this.
Final payment
Your final payment is nonrefundable unless you can find a replacement for the trip and that replacement pays the full trip price at the time of commitment—$350 deposit and final payment—in which case you will receive your final payment refunded to you. The $350 deposit is nonrefundable even if you find a replacement per the reasons stated in the first item in this list.
Replacement for your spot
The replacement for your spot is only applicable for the same room price (double queen or king room) and is allowed prior to the 30-day mark before the trip commences, so before February 8, 2026. Within that 30-day window of the first day of the trip, no replacements are allowed as it is too close to the trip to make changes within our systems and vendors’ systems.
Final payment deadline, October 1, 2026.
If the final payment is not made by the deadline (with a 48-hour grace period) Women Who Ski reserves the right to cancel the person’s trip with no refund of the deposit.
Travel insurance – please take the time to read and understand
Travel is a perishable product. It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance to cover your investment. Travel insurance protection must be purchased prior to final payment to Women Who Ski. Last season, several women had to cancel within that 30-day window due to these reasons: knee injury during skiing, old back injury flaring up, daughter in hospital, death in the family, travel to a foreign country to be at bedside of ill family member, husband in hospital. Some of these women were able to recoup their investment because they purchased travel insurance. Some lost their whole investment because at that late date, a replacement was not able to be found.
With the dates of this trip being in March, relatively later in the ski season, and you plan to ski prior to this trip, there is higher likelihood of a ski injury occurring and therefore having to miss this trip, let alone all the other reasons stated above that we may not think about.
It cannot be stated enough that paying an average of 6.5% of your package cost is a small price to pay for peace of mind so you can recoup not only your final payment but your deposit too in the event you are unable to make this trip. Women Who Ski’s founder and president, Genevieve Schmitt, encourages you to do your research and find a basic policy that covers trip cancellation and trip interruption. Check boxes only if you are NOT getting travel insurance for this trip. (Again, this document is read-only; a sign-able document will be emailed once you commit to the trip.)
I am refusing travel insurance and understand I will forfeit my $350 deposit if I have to cancel my trip for any reason.
I am refusing trip insurance and realize I will forfeit my final payment if I have to cancel my trip for any reason and cannot find a replacement to take my spot.
