Facebook Group Rules

Be the first to know about our all-women trips, meet-ups, and discounts, by signing up for an annual membership at WomenWhoSki.org. This is the next level of membership beyond this free, private Facebook group.

If you have a professional ski trip or clinic you'd like to promote, it must be approved by Admin Jena Sabatini through private message. We run our own trips and clinics and those take priority in our group; however, we realize that women may want to travel to destinations not on our trip lineup or on dates we don't have trips.

We do not allow posting of real estate rental links to be promoted to our members, nor do we allow sales of new and used ski gear. So please don’t ask for either. There are specific groups set up to manage sales. We are not one of them. Thanks for understanding.

You are welcome to promote your ski and winter related product or service on the first day of every month in a post. This rule is strictly enforced. Per our other rules, rental listings and gear sales are never allowed and ski trips/clinics need to be preapproved, even on the first of the month.

Treat everyone with respect, kindness, and humility. Positivity is our theme. No negative or mean-spirited words. This also includes no shaming or calling someone out on things that are free or personal choice like the wearing of a helmet, even commenting or posting under the guise of a "friendly suggestion," or "safety first." This rule will be strictly enforced. Check your heart before posting. Ask yourself, "What’s my motivation?” when composing a post or comment.

There are many spammy Facebook and Instagram pages with ski related content. We frown upon the sharing of these. We prefer you source your own content rather than sharing the "look at this 3-year-old on skis" post from an unfamiliar or clickbait source. We will delete these if you share them so please don't.

Do not post photos or content that is not yours. If you want to show the latest photos of the snow at Vail that are on Vail's Facebook page, for example, use the share feature on Vail's page. Don't lift those photos from Vail's page and then post them yourself because it looks like they're your photos. This is a violation of copyright rules.
