Initiative 1: Innovative Member Tools
Share a Chair, Build a Sisterhood:
The Future of Women Who Ski Member Tools
October 11, 2026
Our vision at Women Who Ski has always been clear: every woman skier, snowboarder, backcountry explorer, and cross‑country enthusiast has a buddy to call when she wants to hit the slopes or trails. To make this possible, we need a thriving, connected, engaged membership across all 19 of our designated ski regions across the world.
This year, we’re taking a major leap forward in how this happens!
Ski buddy connections at Big Sky Resort made possible by Women Who Ski.
A 10‑Fold Expansion Goal — And the Tools to Support It
To grow our network to the scale required for true connection, we’re rolling out a suite of innovative member tools in our new app designed to make finding ski partners easier, faster, and more fun.
The biggest game‑changer? The Share a Chair feature.
Share a Chair: The Tool That Changes Everything
With Share a Chair, members simply log the dates and locations they plan to ski or ride. The app automatically shows who else will be at the same resort — either on the same day or during the same window — making it effortless to coordinate chairlift buddies, meetups, or full ski days.
Peak inside the new app:
This Share a Chair feature flows directly into each resort’s page inside the app giving you a real‑time snapshot of member activity.
You can message other members, make plans, and build connections before you arrive or after you’re on mountain. Pick whichever way works better for you on a given day but make a habit of logging in your ski location to notify other members you’re ready to Share a Chair.
It’s simple!
It’s powerful!
And it’s going to transform how women find each other on the mountain.
Group Trips, Regional Chats & Partner Resorts
Alongside Share a Chair, the app supports:
Group Trips (registration, communication, logistics)
Regional Chat Groups (connect with women in your area)
Partner Resort Offers (exclusive discounts and perks)
Help us grow our Partner Resorts. Download our Partner Resort Program flyer and share with your local ski area.
The app is in beta testing now with full rollout by November 1.
